St. John's School Greater Noida West hosted an inspiring and educational event called "Unsung Heroes," a Community Helper Competition exclusively for the kindergarten department. The competition aimed to educate young minds about various community helpers and the crucial roles they play in our society. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and public speaking skills.
First Round (SELECTION)- 19th July 2023
The competition kicked off with the first round on 19th July. The kindergarten students enthusiastically participated, dressed up as different community helpers such as doctors, firefighters, police officers, teachers, astronauts, farmers, and more. Their costumes were adorable, and it was evident that they put in a lot of effort with the support of their parents.
The young speakers showcased their confidence and eloquence as they shared their knowledge about the roles and responsibilities of these community heroes.
Second Round(FINAL) - 21st July 2023
For the second round, five children from each class were chosen to represent their respective classes. Children gave their best performances and once again highlighted the importance of community helpers in our lives. The judges had a tough job in their hands as they evaluated the participants based on their content, delivery, and overall stage presence.
The "Unsung Heroes" Community Helper Competition was a resounding success in fostering knowledge, creativity, and confidence among the kindergarten students.
The event was a testament to the school's commitment to providing holistic education, nurturing young minds, and encouraging their talents. The students left the competition with valuable life lessons, cherished memories, and a deeper understanding of the roles played by community helpers in making the world a better place.
