In a bid to celebrate India's rich cultural heritage and foster environmental consciousness ,St John's School recently organised a series of activities under the theme of "Tribal Empowerment"for students from grades 3 to 5.These activities were held as a part of the nationwide "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav".
For grade 3 students,an enthralling headgear making activity was conducted.This engaging session allowed the young minds to explore and appreciate the diversity of tribal headgears worn across different regions of India.Grade 4 students participated in a meaningful tree plantation activity.The young nature enthusiasts enthusiastically planted saplings within the school premises.Meanwhile,the Grade 5 students honed their artistic talents through a vibrant painting activity.Inspired by tribal art forms,the young artists unleashed their creativity on canvas ,creating beautiful masterpieces that reflected the essence of tribal culture.
