Competitions play a role in motivating students to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize. They offer a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude.We are excited to share another moment of triumph and victory for St. John’s School students who were awarded trophies for Interschool competition held at DPS International School on 19th October 2023. We got prize in 9 categories out of 15. Our below mentioned eager and enlightened students were awarded with the trophies.
We got 1st position in Natyashala Street Play where our students Suhan Pathak (7B), Arjun Gaur(7B), Aayush Kumar (7E), Pranjal Mishra (8D), Raya Parashar (8C), Shreyash Singh (8B), Aastha Singh (8B), Navya Singh (8A), Anvi Mittal (8A) andSatyam Mani Tripathi (8A) enthralled the audience with their acting skills.
Shaurya Rawat (10B)and Sakshi Chaturvedi (10A) also got 1st prize in Declamation and Character Dramatization respectively.
Our students got 2nd position in designing E- journal, singing and art competitions.
We got 2nd position in Designing E- journal where our young and talented students Abigail Mathew (6D) and Shreya Singh (8A) used the Microsoft word to create an e- journal.
Ashmeet Kaur (8A), Aarav Mishra (7A), Atharv Ratn Upadhyay (6D), Kabir Kaushik (6C), Dhriti Salhotra(7A) and Varun Singh (8D) captivated the audience and the judges with their melody andgot 2nd positionin Harmony Singing Competition.
Hemakshi Verma (7A) and Anshika Raturi (8C) got 2nd position in Abhivyakti - Art Competition where as Shrishti Audichya(10B) and Mitali (9B) also secured second position in Graffiti Competition by impressing everyone with their art skills.
We also secured 3rd position in Ad Actinium competition where students from class IX-A Kanishka Aithani, Naitik Shahi, Rishita Mathur, Tanvi Mishra, Lakshay Singh and Abhisek Kumar Patel captivated the audience and judges with their act.
Last but not the least, we secured 3rd position in Indian classical duet dance competitions where Shreya Jain (10B) and Avni Singhal (9B) influenced the judges and audience with their performance.
All the students performed with great zeal and made the school proud by winning prizes. We are extremely proud of our students. Congratulations to the winners for their outstanding performance.
