'The Soul of Kashmir, Santoor' Musical Event

The event featured the emerging Santoor player, Luis Eduardo Vega, accompanied by the budding tabla talent, Chaitanya. Louis is a versatile musician who has been a laureate in 7 international composition competitions organized by different countries and conferred high achievement in all the contests. He is now delving into the study of Santoor with the nationally and internationally acclaimed Santoor Player, Pd. Abhay Sopori from Sufiana Gharana from Kashmir.
Adding to the magical ambiance was Chaitanya's skillful tabla accompaniment, perfectly complementing the Santoor melodies with intricate rhythms and beats. Chaitanya Started learning tabla when he was only 6-year-old. Under the expert hand of Shri Gitarama ji, he has been honing his skill for several years. Chaitanya is currently learning tabla from Ustad Akram Khan of Ajrara Gharana . Winner of several competitions including the open youth competition conducted by government of Haryana, performed with many great artists in India and abroad.
