"Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open."
B.K.S Iyengar
St. John's School strongly believes in the saying “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.” To ingrain a better awareness about the significance of health and to promote healthy eating on World Health Day the flameless cooking activity was conducted on Friday 12 April 2024 for Class I & II.
Learners discovered the magic of flameless cooking! With some basic ingredients, they whipped up tasty treats without any flames in sight. From fruity sandwiches to cheesy wraps, students let their creativity run wild. It was a hands-on adventure that taught them the joy of cooking safely and deliciously. Who knew cooking without fire could be so much fun?
Students were also sensitized about good eating habits that include a balanced diet by adopting a healthy lifestyle. The celebration was indeed valuable as it helped our young children to develop a better understanding about quality living and the importance of health.
